Driving down the autopista (motorway), on our way to Bogotá, we came across an accident (nobody hurt). The motorway was closed and we watched the authorities try to pull a truck out of the central reservation. They were having no luck and so I offered our services! We broke out our recovery gear and pulled the truck out in short order, allowing the motorway to be opened again. The recovery team were very thankful, and after photos and handshakes, we were on our way again.
Big Bertha & Dave to the rescue 😊
Well done David and Francine.
I always thought you should wear a Cape!
Well done – I like your ‘Safety Boots’ Dave !
Yeah, not the best boots 🙂
Great job!
They were very lucky, in more ways than one!
BB and the rescue rangers 👏👏
What a good Boy Scout you are, what a great rescue, well done!
Well done Dave – repaying that goodwill shown to you by others in the past and banking some more for the future. If everybody did this the world would be a better pace. Not sure about the QIS (Quastel Industrial Standard) shoes though. Safe travels.
They were so lucky to get your help. Good for BB, so sturdy, what a very versatile machine. Thanks for all your updates.
