Heading north from the Parque Nacional Los Alerces, we visited the lakeside town of Lago Puelo. Here we hiked up to a mirador in the NP overlooking the town, lake and mountains.
The next day was Gaucho day. As complete novices, we booked what we thought was a brief and gentle two hour horse ride adjacent to the lake. However, three and a half hours later, having ascended a forest covered mountain, pushed through dense bush and crossed several rivers, we must re-think our Spanish language comprehension!
Nonetheless, it was a terrific day out on horseback and we really enjoyed it. Next stop, Bariloche – ski capital of Argentina.
Amazing, I’m so jealous!
Perfect way to spend a few hours.

Agreed!
What an adventure. I’m too scared to even get on a horse. Looks a wonderful day out.
They were very docile Carole!
I hope you weren’t too sore the next day. It looked like a good way to spend a day?
Take care you two.
We really enjoyed it David!
