Two Countries, One Iguazu Falls

Forming the border between Argentina and Brazil, Iguazu Falls are a sight to behold. We visited the Argentinian southern side first. The view from this side is from the top of the Falls. Three paths , Paseo Inferior, Paseo Superior and Paseo Garganta del Diablo lead us on a tour of the Argentinian side.

The falls are very popular and it is a well-run operation with a little train to take you to the trails. It was very busy though; much busier than Victoria Falls in Zambia/Zimbabwe and no comparison to the Kalandula Falls in Angola where we were amongst less than ten visitors.

After a full day at the Falls we returned to our campsite and crossed into Brazil the following day, wondering if it would be any different. It was: the view from this side encompasses the whole sweep of the Falls (some 2.7 km long) and, as Francine keeps saying, it is amazing.
