Yes we do, and very comfortable it is too. Just think of it as a small bedsit – compact and bijou. It has everything one really needs; a fixed bed, kitchen, dining area and bathroom.
Our bathroom has a full sized toilet with a china bowl, a good sized sink with a large bathroom cabinet and mirrored doors, a heated towel rail and full sized shower. We’ve stayed in Paris hotel rooms with smaller bathrooms!
The kitchen has a two burner hob and oven, twin sinks and good preparation areas, which can be supplemented by the dining room table, and a good amount of storage. Our fridge is not huge (110L) but has a freezer compartment. Time will tell if it is sufficient.
Our dining room can easily seat four (six at a push). It is in a U-shaped configuration. The bed is a regular ‘double’ size, with a nice mattress resting on froli springs. We sleep really well on it.
Heating-wise, we have a full hot water radiator circuit around the cabin powered by a gas boiler, which also heats our water. The cabin is very well insulated (walls are 65mm thick with foam insulation) and we have glass double glazing. It stays very toasty. We also have diesel-powered blown hot air heating, which heats the cabin super quick when needed. When we want to stay cool, all windows open and we have two giant roof hatches.
If necessary, we can move between the cabin and cab via a lockable hatch.
There is plenty of storage inside including a small wardrobe.
